Two cameras, unlimited possibilities
Hasselblad L2D-20c camera
Old legend, new chapter
Iconic Swedish brand Hasselblad designed and manufactured the L2D-20c aerial camera exclusively for DJI Mavic 3, incorporating a professional-grade 4/3 CMOS sensor into an incredibly compact footprint. Hasselblad’s rigorous standards apply to both hardware performance and software algorithms, taking image quality to a whole new level.
20 MP photos
12.8 stops of dynamic range
f/2.8-f/11 Adjustable Aperture
Focal length equivalent to 24 mm
VDAF Vision Detection Autofocus Technology
4/3 CMOS Designed for Masterpieces
A larger image sensor not only gives the Mavic 3 greater resolution and dynamic range, but also more effectively suppresses noise in low-light environments.
12.8 stops of dynamic range for optimal image quality
The 4/3 CMOS sensor features a 12.8-stop high dynamic range to retain more detail in highlights and shadows, enhancing your work to a professional level.
Adjustable aperture for each scene
The aperture can be adjusted to suit the needs of different scenes. In low-light environments, the f/2.8 aperture lets in more light; when lighting is sufficient, the aperture can be adjusted to reduce the shutter speed and capture smoother, more natural images.
Wider field of view to see the bigger picture
Weighing less than 13g, the 24mm equivalent lens not only supports autofocus but also has an 84° field of view to capture more in every frame.
Focusing is faster with VDAF technology.
The Mavic 3’s Hasselblad camera features Vision Detection Auto Focus (VDAF) technology, which works with multiple vision sensors to use distance data to optimize focusing speed.
Hasselblad Natural Color Solution
Mavic 3 features Hasselblad’s Natural Color Solution, the fruit of decades of photographic expertise, producing vivid, natural colors with just a press of the shutter.
Excellence without presets
Complex color presets have never been part of the Hasselblad philosophy, not even for the Mavic 3. Starting at the pixel level of the sensors, Hasselblad developed the Hasselblad Natural Color Solution (HNCS), a new approach to handling a variety of scenes while easily reproducing accurate and natural colors.
Pixel Calibration for Maximum Image Quality
To ensure the Mavic 3 captures natural colors just like other Hasselblad cameras, the L2D-20c lens adopts the same rigorous standards and has every pixel on the sensor calibrated, with HNCS built in.
Accurate Color Reproduction
During shooting, the RGB color data obtained by the sensor is converted through Hasselblad’s unique image processing algorithm and color processing mode so that natural colors in various scenes can be accurately reproduced without any preset adjustments.
Results that speak
Create professional images with the high-quality Hasselblad L2D-20c camera system. The higher dynamic range enables more natural transitions between light and shadow, preserving rich visual information with a greater sense of depth. A larger sensor keeps images sharp in low-light conditions.
Professional Video Specifications
5.1K video recording
DCI 4K/120 fps
Apple ProRes 422 HQ
10-bit D-Log color profile
Mavic 3 not only records aerial video in high resolution and frame rates, but also captures 1 billion colors with a 10-bit D-Log color profile, presenting more natural gradation of sky colors with more details preserved for greater flexibility in post-production.
The Mavic 3 Cine supports Apple ProRes 422 HQ [2] encoding with a maximum data rate of 3772 Mbps. Additionally, it is also supported by a built-in 1TB SSD [3] and a 10 Gbps Lightspeed data cable to make professional filming and creation even easier.
Telescopic Camera | Scan Mode
28x Hybrid Zoom | 162mm, f/4.4
Activate Explore Mode to unlock the Mavic 3’s second camera: a unique telephoto camera that lets you explore and plan your shots effortlessly. When scenes or subjects are far away, use the telephoto lens to zoom in and save time, or shoot from a distance without disturbing your subject.
Total Flight Performance | Enhanced Safety
Omnidirectional obstacle detection
The Mavic 3 ensures collision-free flight, so all you need to do is focus on taking photos. Multiple wide-angle vision sensors onboard work seamlessly with a high-performance vision computing engine to accurately detect obstacles in all directions[4] and plan a safe flight path that avoids them.
Advanced RTH
Always end on the right foot with Advanced RTH. Obstacles that stand in the way of returning to your Home Point are easily detected and avoided. With the new Advanced RTH, the Mavic 3 will automatically determine the optimal route to avoid obstacles and return home safely.
Whether triggered by the user or triggered by signal loss, Mavic 3 can easily return to the Home Point safely under suitable lighting conditions.
Don’t just fly, enjoy
APAS 5.0
Mavic 3 makes flying more fun than ever, with footage that’s no longer interrupted by obstacles in the way. While flying, the Mavic 3 continuously detects objects in all directions and steers around them quickly and smoothly.
Streaming O3+ and Beyond
46 minutes of extended flight time
Perform every step, from flight path planning to composition and even recording a time-lapse video, all in a single flight. Compared to the previous generation, the Mavic 3’s wind resistance has improved by 35%. It also uses more energy-efficient motors and propellers along with a high-capacity battery that extends flight time to 46 minutes [5].
15km video transmission range
Mavic 3 not only flies farther with a 15km transmission range, but also transmits signals with greater stability and lower video lag, giving you greater peace of mind during flight.
- Strong interference: urban centers (approx. 1.5-3 km)
- Medium interference: suburban areas (approx. 3-9 km)
- Low interference – Open landscapes (approx. 9-15 km) [9]
High frame rate streaming in HD with visible fluidity
The Mavic 3 is the first DJI drone capable of transmitting a 1080p/60 fps live feed. This means the camera view is displayed at specifications close to what the camera actually records. It also makes the Mavic 3 more responsive to your controls.
Extreme precision positioning technology
The Mavic 3’s high-precision positioning not only ensures clearer long-exposure shots, but also helps shoot smoother time-lapse videos. In short, it makes the Mavic 3 more stable while hovering.

- DO NOT operate the aircraft in adverse weather conditions, such as strong winds exceeding 13.8 m/s, snow, rain, fog, hail, or lightning. DO NOT fly the aircraft at 6,000 m (19,685 ft) or higher above sea level. DO NOT fly the aircraft in environments where the temperature is below -10°C (14°F) or above 40°C (104°F). DO NOT take off from moving objects, such as cars or boats. DO NOT fly near reflective surfaces, such as water or snow. Otherwise, the vision system may be limited. When the GNSS signal is weak, fly the aircraft in environments with good lighting and visibility. Low ambient light may cause the vision system to operate abnormally. DO NOT fly near areas with magnetic or radio interference. Common sources of magnetic or radio interference include Wi-Fi access points, routers, Bluetooth devices, high-voltage lines, large-scale power transmission stations, radar stations, mobile base stations, and transmission towers. Take care when taking off in desert or beach areas to prevent sand from entering the aircraft. Fly the aircraft in open areas. Buildings, mountains, and trees can block the GNSS signal and affect the onboard compass.
- Measured with the Mavic 3 flying at a constant speed of 32.4 km/h (20 mph) in a windless environment at sea level until the battery reached 0%. Data is for reference only. Please pay attention to the RTH reminder in the DJI Fly app during flight.
