Dual-camera drone for travel photography
The DJI Air 3S is a dual-camera drone designed for travel photography that integrates a suite of advanced technologies. Featuring a 1-inch CMOS main camera and a 70mm telephoto camera, each with up to 14 stops of dynamic range, the Air 3S captures landscapes, portraits, and more in stunning detail. Both cameras support the new Free Panorama feature, allowing you to flexibly select your shooting range. New features include Obstacle Detection for nightscapes and next-generation Smart RTH for enhanced safety during nighttime photography. In every way, the DJI Air 3S is designed to maximize every aerial moment.
The DJI Air 3S features a dual-camera system consisting of a 1-inch CMOS main camera and a 1/1.3-inch CMOS medium telephoto camera. The main camera features a larger CMOS sensor and a 24mm lens, making it ideal for capturing sweeping landscapes with greater clarity and a wide field of view. The 70mm medium telephoto camera excels at portraits and vehicle photography, offering a compressed depth of field to make any subject look bolder and more cinematic.
The DJI Air 3S main camera features a 1-inch 50MP CMOS sensor, supporting 4K/60fps and 4K/120fps HDR video recording, as well as 10-bit D-Log M color mode. Enhanced with advanced image processing technology and intelligent algorithms, this large sensor preserves even the tiniest details in low-light conditions like sunsets and nightscapes, delivering simple, effortless shots that will take your breath away.
The latest HDR video mode offers up to 14 stops of dynamic range, capturing cinematic images in high-contrast scenes, such as detailed views of cloud textures and other elements during sunrise and sunset.
Improved resolution and frame rates add a vibrant perspective to cultural or sporting events and open up exciting creative possibilities during post-processing.
Even in normal color mode, the Air 3S can record 10-bit video using H.265 encoding, offering refined color performance and greater flexibility in post-production, with the maximum ISO increased to 12,800. In D-Log M and HLG color modes, the maximum ISO is raised to 3,200, allowing for greater brightness and more detail in urban night scenes.
The mid-telephoto camera, with its 48MP 1/1.3-inch CMOS sensor, supports the same video specifications and color modes as the main camera. This ensures visually consistent footage for optimized post-processing. Its 70mm lens offers 3x optical zoom, allowing you to capture unique shots from a distance while highlighting your subject. And when you use Air 3S to orbit a subject and record 4K video, you can easily capture detailed and expressive close-up portraits.
Both the main camera and the medium telephoto camera on the DJI Air 3S offer Free Panorama mode, which allows you to create seamless panoramic shots by stitching multiple images together with a manually selected subject or area. The wide-angle camera offers a wider field of view, increasing efficiency when capturing panoramic photos. The medium telephoto camera significantly reduces image distortion, turning your masterpieces into expansive shots with a wide perspective from multiple photos and rich details captured through the advantages of its focal length.
DJI Air 3S also supports user-favorite features like 2.7K vertical shooting, MasterShots, QuickShots, Hyperlapse, and more, bringing together a massive set of creative tools in a compact drone.
Omnidirectional vision detection system
The DJI Air 3S supports Advanced Pilot Assistance Systems (APAS). Additionally, as DJI’s first drone to feature forward-facing LiDAR, the Air 3S also features downward-facing infrared Time-of-Flight (ToF) sensors and six vision sensors (two each at the front, rear, and bottom) for omnidirectional obstacle sensing in nightscapes. This feature allows the drone to automatically identify and avoid obstacles, such as buildings, during its flight and return routes, ensuring robust safety for nighttime photography.

Thanks to real-time vision positioning and map-building technologies, the DJI Air 3S memorizes flight paths when there is adequate lighting. This ensures a safe return even when taking off from locations without satellite signals, such as balconies.
Thanks to forward-facing LiDAR, the DJI Air 3S can detect obstacles like tall buildings and navigate upwards around them, even in low-light conditions, ensuring safer returns at night.
DJI Air 3S’s Vision Assist provides a downward view in addition to front, back, left, and right views to help you better understand your surroundings.
DJI Air 3S also offers Waypoint Flight and Cruise Control, among other advanced features, allowing you to preset flight paths and camera actions and quickly lock control stick inputs to unleash your creativity.
The DJI Air 3S comes standard with 42GB of built-in storage, allowing you to start recording right away and avoid having to deal with microSD cards.
You can now send files from your Air 3S to a smartphone even when the drone is off. Transfers to a computer can also be performed with the drone off: simply connect the Air 3S via a compatible USB cable.
The battery charging hub supports PD fast charging and a power accumulation function, allowing you to transfer the remaining power from multiple low-power batteries to the battery with the most remaining power.
