No. Our FAA Part-107 Remote Pilot Certification Preparation course provides you with all the knowledge and tools necessary to take the Part 107 Drone Pilot test at an FAA Test Center.
The Commercial Drone Pilot Certificate or License in the United States is only obtained by taking an exam in English through the FAA, the federal institution that regulates airspace in the United States.
All of our courses can be offered in person, blended, or online.
If you use your drone for recreational use, you don’t need a Commercial Pilot License, but you do need to take the TRUST safety test to obtain the Recreational Pilot Safety Certificate (TRUST). You must also register your drone if it weighs more than 250 grams. You can watch this video to learn how to obtain the TRUST Certificate. It’s online and free: HOW TO OBTAIN THE TRUST CERTIFICATE
But… if you want to sell the images or upload them to a YouTube channel or provide any service with your drone (i.e., you’re going to monetize), you MUST have your FAA Part-107 Remote Pilot Certification.
You must be legally present. If you live in the United States, you must have two valid photo IDs (a work permit and a driver’s license from your state). If you are a tourist, you must have a valid passport, a valid U.S. visa, and a valid ID from your country. You will not be able to take the exam if you are illegally present or without the above documents.
The FAA test is conducted entirely in English and is in-person, so it’s recommended that you have basic English skills and are able to read and understand the language. You must schedule the exam online, where you’ll need to create a user account. There, you can schedule your exam appointment based on your location. The test costs $175, in addition to the course.
The only requirement is that you want to BECOME A DRONE PILOT.
You don’t need a Drone to participate.
The courses are in Spanish and also in English.
The cost of each course varies depending on the city and the type of course..
